3.5.4.2-rc2 install on tosa still hangs on crosshair calibration

  first, is 3.5.4.2-rc2 the latest release for tosa?  it's been a
while since i've looked and i don't see anything newer than that.

  and, second, i'm getting a hang on installation, at the end of the
crosshair calibration, something i've seen on occasion before.  i can
calibrate the four corners, but when it gets to the screen-centre
crosshair, at that point, that first reboot hangs.  i've tried both
with and without the installation CF card in the slot.

  i *can* just reset and power up again, but is there a known
resolution for avoiding that crosshair hang on first reboot?  thanks.
