Q on Z

Hi again,

I've set up a feed with Oz 3.5.4 binaries for the upcoming Q 7.6 release
at http://q-lang.sf.net/feed/OpenZaurus. Q is a functional programming
language based on term rewriting. Think Haskell but more Lispish in that
it is interpreted and has dynamic typing, and more Pythonish in that it
has "batteries included". Well, the Oz version doesn't have all the
"batteries" -- Q's multimedia extensions are not included --, but it has
the complete POSIX system interface and various addon modules (e.g.,
curl, sqlite3, xml), so it is useful for scripting purposes. At the very
least, it makes for a sophisticated kind of programmable calculator on
your Z.

So, those of you who are into functional programming, or are just bored
with the same old Perl and Python, might wish to give it a whirl. :)
