Re: SL-C3200 and SDHC cards

I noted with interest that the wikipedia article referenced above mentions
that SD is only open-source compatible in SPI/MMC mode (up to 25 Mbit/s);
not one-bit SD mode, or the faster four-bit SD mode at up to 100 Mbit/s.

Can anyone comment on that?  Is that correct?  I know that wikipedia is
hardly free of errors and I trust the accuracy of information from this
group, so...

If so, then I guess it's silly for me to buy the really fast 100MB/sec
cards, huh (though I haven't seen any that advertise such data rates thus far).
