Hey folks,

for days now I have been trying to get my Z5500 to download new
packages from the feeds with no success. I'm still using 3.5.4 as I
understand the collie is pretty useless still with the 2.6 kernel (no
SD among others) so I can't update to 3.5.4.x. I'm using the GPE
image, booting it off an SD card.

Now, a little experiment on my normal linux box typing
http://feeds.openzaurus.org into the address bar shows a number of
problems with the feeds. The mirror at utwente is still available even
though it's no longer operational. Then, the divbyzero mirror seems to
not respond. The jaduncan mirror does not even have a 3.5.4 section.

Now, I'm only using ipkg from the command-line (also from ssh into the
Z) and when I do an ipkg update I get messages like (tidied up a
little):

****

Downloading http://feeds.openzaurus.org/3.5.4/feed/base/Packages.gz
Inflating http://feeds.openzaurus.org/3.5.4/feed/base/Packages.gz
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/ipkg/base

Downloading http://feeds.openzaurus.org/3.5.4/feed/gpe/Packages.gz
wget: server returned error 404: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Downloading http://feeds.openzaurus.org/3.5.4/feed/upgrades/machine/collie/Packages.gz
wget: Unable to connect to remote host (74.117.81.218): Connection refused

Collected errors:
ipkg_download: ERROR: Command failed with return value 1: `wget
--passive-ftp -q -P /tmp/ipkg-t9DSTq
http://feeds.openzaurus.org/3.5.4/feed/gpe/Packages.gz'

****

The first block is a successful update, the second gives 404 site not
found, the third says connection refused.

I'm at a loss here, what am I doing wrong? I'm using
feeds.openzaurus.org as my feed server, as suggested in the wiki.

Many thanks.

Spiros
