Hi Tom, Thanks a million for your reply. Unfortunately, the card does not show = in cardctl info. (Only the microdrive does) I dont have a pccardctl command available. This is what i get exactly in dmesg: pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 1 pccard: card ejected from slot 1 In /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf, the card is mentioned. My firmware is = version 1.7.4.
