Qtopia is more than just GPL code. We cant legally put GPL code into non GPL software. You do not have to give up your copyright, just write it in a license thats suitable for Trolltech's customers, as well as for its free software contributions. > With Nokia, it looks like there is essentially a two-way code flow > [We->Nokia + Nokia->We] instead of the one-way code flow we had with > Qtopia. There's nothing like getting free development, hey. You are free to do whatever you want, and this includes letting your time and code be used by others for profit - non free software. You guys want to write crappy C code for others profits, that is fine. But I am really tired of all the Trolltech bashing by people that have been co-developers in Opie. If you don't believe in the project and free software, then leave it. -- Lorn 'ljp' Potter Trolltech Qtopia Community Manager Opie Core Developer http://qtopia.net _______________________________________________ http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/DeveloperWikiIndex Opie-devel mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie-devel
