I may add RealVNC's automatic selection of encoding but the limitation on bandwidth on the configurations I've been trying seem to be more related to processing power than bandwidth so it may not work properly on the Zaurus (although my target is the Simpad, the zaurus is more portable for testing on other networks). If anybody really, really wants me to look at adding anything else, let me know before I park it.
