I've managed to add RRE, CoRRE, Hextile and ZLib encoding and I've added a
rotated mode (not really necessary under opie but useful for Sharp ROMs) and
a "fit to window" mode. I'm about to look at adding ZRLE encoding and then
I'll probably call it a day (I looked at zlibhex but this seems to be less
supported than the others and to not perform as well as ZRLE anyway).

I haven't looked at adding tight beyond noting that it maintains several
zlib streams and may be too processor intensive to make it worthwhile -
especially as ZRLE is rumoured to be pretty close in performance, and is
part of RealVNC which seems to be better documented (my *real* reason 8^).

I may add RealVNC's automatic selection of encoding but the limitation on
bandwidth on the configurations I've been trying seem to be more related to
processing power than bandwidth so it may not work properly on the Zaurus
(although my target is the Simpad, the zaurus is more portable for testing
on other networks).

If anybody really, really wants me to look at adding anything else, let me
know before I park it.

Cheers
Tim
