Hi,

probably I was a bit too optimist:
by viewing at the existing code I could manage to write a Odevice for the Palm, but while I could get the brightness
got set I wasn't able to have any advance with the buttons.

As an absolute beginner into this field, I'm not sure where the problem is, so I will post my impressions and findings
hoping you will address me into the right direction.

1. the device seems to get recognized as the brigtness gets correctly set through the appropriate functions.
2. I don't get any action done for the buttons and navigation's keypad yet
3. if I cat /dev/console I see some characters generated on keypresses, while nothing seems to be sent to the
opie-terminal
4. the chars seen on /dev/console do not seem to be the expected sequences for the keys configured into the kernel
driver (probably a remap of the keys is needed)
5. when the screen blanks then it is not waked up by any button, but only by tapping the touchscreen

By looking at what's happening I was oriented in believing that probably the input channel is not recognized, but very
likely I'm compretely wrong.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Best regards,
Cris
