Please also note that you can use fbgrab for doing screen captures rather than having to take pictures ;) I also have a modified version of fbgrab at http://svn.openezx.org/trunk/src/userspace/fbgrab/ which you can use in a way like fbgrab -l -H 192.168.1.10 /tmp/foo.png this actually tries to connect to 192.168.1.10:3242 and then loops (-l) and sends png images with a small additional header structure over the TCP socket. There is a fbgrab-viewer.c in the same SVN directory, but unfortunately it just shows a black screen. However, the PNG images are sent correctly, it's just my use of Xlib which seems to be broken (my first experience with Xlib). If anyone has suggestions on how to fix the viewer, let me know. And yes, don't look at the coding style. I'll clean it up once it works. > Keyboard / button handling - either it's not mapped correctly or there > are other problems. I will find that out. what is 'correctly' ? it currently tries to emulate a keypad (i.e. the right part of your keyboard). However, since numblock is not / can not be set, it seems to come out as home/end/pgup/pgdn/... > Touchscreen is a bit flaky, but usable - I guess the ts driver needs a > bit more love ;) mh. I'm sure somebody else (but me) can look into it, now that it basically works. As said, I've never done any ts development before. -- - Harald Welte <[email protected]> http://gnumonks.org/ ============================================================================ We all know Linux is great...it does infinite loops in 5 seconds. -- Linus _______________________________________________ http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/DeveloperWikiIndex Opie-devel mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie-devel
