  I am not sure if everybody is keeping their eye on opie-devel but

He posted a solution for the arrows :

Can somebody confirm that it works ? I have just tried that with
negative result.
Also I had a thought recently - those numbers - don't they remind You
anything - maybe the "numlock" is ON ?:)

I have spotted one thing about Your patch - the keys are working
correctly on the desktop and in the "button settings" but try going
i.e. to the console. There only the calendar and the contacts work -
itasks and mail don't.
That can also be the correct way they should work and I might be wrong.
