I hope this is not out of place to post this. I like using Opie-Eye in "Fit to Screen" view mode. However there is a problem when I do this. It does not always scale my images in good quality. Images much larger than my screen, and even images only slightly larger then the screen scale with some quality loss in the display. I can fix this by unzooming from "Fit to Screen", where the image is now displayed normal size, then hitting "Fit to Screen" again. When the image resizes, the quality of the resized image is MUCH higher. I assume this has to do with some resizing algorythm in Opie-Eye when scaling images down. It was probably built for speed at the price of some quality loss in display. I would like to request an option in the Opie-Eye configuration that enabled a "high quality" resizing, even if it is slower. If this request is not an option, could one of the developers possible point me to where I can grab the code for the project myself, and maybe some pointers on what needs to be modified to enabled a high quality resize method? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Opie-Eye-image-quality-feature-request-tf2403928.html#a6701840 Sent from the Opie - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/DeveloperWikiIndex Opie-devel mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie-devel
