Hi,
Actually you may try to build qte and opie with any compiler you wish. 
But the MUST be built with the same version: either 3.3.2 or 2.95.3.
If you want to run your built software on a target running familiar, I'd 
like to suggest you to use 3.4.4 version. At least, it works for me.
