OPIE 1.2.3 release?

After looking at amount of patches which recently were applied into OPIE I 
wonder do we plan to have new release soon?

Currently I'm working on new release of OpenZaurus distribution and have 
two options:

1. backport all changes to OPIE 1.2.2 recipes
2. help to release OPIE 1.2.3

I would prefer second option but do not know what you think about. Do we 
have some blockers or things to do before release?
