We could still do what GPE does on the PIN screen but I wonder whether just a press of the record button is a good thing from a usability perspective, since on my iPAQs it's easy to hit accidentally. In any case I've removed the bug from the list of blockers for 1.2.3. BTW what happens after the freeze date, ie. presumably there is a period where we test and then release? If so when is the proposed release date?
