  I added comment to that bug. Summing up, that might be a good
workaround to get 1.2.3 in time, but otherwise, it would need more
info/investigation to be resolved properly (and yes, it's worth it).

  AFAIK, of classical generation of PDAs, h2200 is the only device
lacking a record button (the reason I didn't buy it at those times).
h1910, h4000, hx4700 for sure have one.

  Other issues noted, I hope myself or other OE package maintainers
