Hi,

this might not be enough. You might need the following as well:

On Your Desktop:
	Masquerading. I normally do iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o wlan+ - 
j MASQUERADE

On Your iPAQ:
	Set a default gateway. This is done by route add default gw  
192.168.0.2 and finally
	you need to add a nameserver to your resolv.conf
