You have to run ipkg-link manually after an install. Until then, Opie
doesn't know you have installed anything.

Quite why this was done is opaque to me. I mentioned this when I blogged
the last installation (http://silmaril.ie/cgi-bin/blog#pdainst, item 25)
I haven't had the time to try 3.5.4 yet but clearly the behaviour is the
same.
