Ah, the infamous h3900 audio problems. I don't currently have an h3900
to test on. I am hoping that someone will step tp be a tester for fixes.

Your idea of a media player workaround is desirable if it works in a way
that we don't have to worry about other sound platforms that don't
support softsync. It would at least help get familiar 0.8.3 out of the
door.
