programmers getting started guide?

Hi,

Has anyone seen (or can share with me) a getting started guide for
programming with opie?

I am having trouble setting up the initial development environment. I
have tried following the openzaurus guide and this one too
(http://people.via.ecp.fr/~clem/nist/qt-notes.php) but I can't seem to
get a working dev environment - either tools are missing or the code
won't compile.

Is there a definitive guide?

I am looking to develop on a fedora core 4/5 machine, for both the
zaurus and (hopefully) and old ipaq running familiar.

I would appreciate any help or pointers people can give me.
