Dear all,

My name is Joaquim Duran. I'm programmer and I should develop QTE or
OPIE applications.

I've downloaded the OPIE SDK following the instructions of OPIE web
site. These are the questions about it:

1 - OPIE SDK provides qt 2.3.7 and OPIE 1.0. Is there any problem if the
application should be executed in qt 2.3.10 and OPIE 1.2.1 (I'm using
the Open Embedded Meta-distribution)?

2 - OPIE SDK includes a kdevelop environment with start_kdevelop script,
but installation notes of OPIE SDK tells that the source of kdevelop
should be downloaded and compiled. why? Which are the difference between
them?

The embedded system is an industrial PC based on PXA270 Xscale
processor. Already, I've executed OPIE 1.2.1 in that board, I've
recompiled myself QTE2 library to support Standard mouse and Mouse
cursor. I'm using a VGA display. The applications works fine at
exception of 2 problems:

1 - I'm interested in the reproduction of video. I've used OPIE media
player to reproduce videos (avi and mpeg). When paying an AVI file,
several time the following messages where displayed many times:

Alignment trap: quicklauncher (1054) PC=0x40a65574 Instr=0xe1d213b8
Address=0x000eb571 FSR 0x003

How this problem could be solved?

2 - I've set the /dev/fb to higher color depth 640*480*16, because they
couldn't be view with 640*480*256 (too few colors), but the colors in
the rest of the sceen also appears unadjusted. How can I fix it?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Joaquim Duran
