OPIE against uclibc

Hello everyone,
  Having searched enough on OPIE site and mailing
lists,
i am not sure if OPIE-1.2.2(or any version) can be
built against uclibc.
 There are some mentions in favor of and against it.
Please be kind enough to verify.
