Please see my old project  http://sourceforge.net/projects/ros-linux - Opie for x86 on uClibc.
( I remember, that get working quicklauncher too :) )

This is not enough interesting now. More interesting - get new open Qtopia and work with it and according QtopiaCore with grow uClibc.
