Ok so I finally managed to get the IBM file I needed and extracted and repacked the opera _stuff_ to match pathes on my ipaq. Then I found this page: http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/PDAforum_posts.asp?TID=199&PN=1 So it looked like I was getting closer :D ... however .... opera is still trying to load libraries from opt/QtPalmtop/lib/ rather than the newly specified /opt/QtPalmtop/libold/ directory. I've put what are supposed to be the needed libs in there and specified in an init script (as specified on the site) to use that as the place to get libraries from: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/QtPalmtop/libold/ But I'm still getting this: opera.bin: symbol lookup error: /opt/QtPalmtop/lib/libqpe.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN12QApplication13active_windowE Does anyone have any ideas how you can possibly use both on the same system if the export doesn't seem to work? it's like it's not even looking for LD_LIBRARY_PATH and just using the default system linker. Ideas? -- "The glass is neither half empty nor half full ... it is twice as big as it needs to be" _______________________________________________ Open Source User Interface and Apps built on Qt Embedded Opie mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie
