Behaviour of Multikey

Hello all,

I use multikey for alphanumeric input on an iPAQ 3870 w/ OPIE0.8.4.

 I found this behaviour when using pim/pi (addresses):
1)
set CAPs to on, tap any key: will produce capital letters in the entry 
field in focus.

2)
change cursor position by tapping the screen at the desired place,

3) 
tap next key: a lower case character is entered in field in focus, 
keyboard display for this key is set to lower case, 
but all other keys including CAPS are left as before. 
Step 3 repeats until all keys are displayed as lower case.

Is this the way its meant to be? Hmm.
