I can't for sure talk about a H3850 but on my H3650 I did have the Xqt server installed at one time on a flash card using the CF sleeve. It also seems to work fine on my h2200 although I haven't put it to much use (yet). Being able to run X on top of Qt seems like an excellent solution to me. I seem to remember that I had to build it myself as it wasn't in the feed at the time. If you can't find it and can't build it let me know I can email you the ipk.
