Essentially they're suggesting Opie isn't of sufficient note to be worthy of coverage in an encyclopedia, rather than that the existing coverage isn't suitable. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:N I've not read the details but my guess would be they've just got it wrong. Not sure how much help it would be to change the article, though it shouldn't hurt. Better to become involved in the discussion concerning the article's possible withdrawal if no one disagrees with the assertion.
