Getting WLAN to work

Hello,

i have Linux running on my HTC Universal ( Kernel version
2.6.21-hh20Qtopiaversion
4.3.1-snapshot-03.12.2008 ).

I have managed to get to the terminal, but i am not able to activate WLAN.
What am i supposed to do?
