Re: Palm E2 'Sqweeling' - Help!

Thanks Martin!  I'll go buy a battery . . . but do you think that the squealing  - caused by a CPU clock interface -could show up after several years of using it.  I have not installed any new programs for it to suddenly be conflicting with???  Just want to make sure we are talking about the same noise.  Maybe squealing is not the right term.  Its not a loud noise, more like a high frequency humm, like your ears ringing, or other TV or appliance that puts off a high pitched ring.  Are we talking the same thing do you think??
