past datebook5 entries moved to google calendar don't show on android device

I have been using datebook software on palm devices for almost 10 years and have a tremendous amount of customer information stored in my calendar- appointments and daily journal.  I am currently using a Treo 650 with Palm OS and datebook 5.  The treo is starting to fail and I need a new device/phone.  I tried the HTC hero after moving my entire calendar to google calendar.  But the old entries did not show up on the Hero calendar and the daily journal entries do not show up on my ipod touch calendar (wifi).  If I am at my pc, I can find all of my entries on google calendar, so I know that the information is there.  Can anyone suggest how to get ALL of my calendar entries from palm desktop or google calendar on to a new mobile device/phone?  The pre is not an option since the calendar is n
 ot searchable.  Thanks.
