DateBk on Android would be a sure fire winner

Dear CESD.

Having had DateBk from Handspring Edge, through Sony Clie and finally Palm Treo I've now decided to jump off the Palm ship. As I'm a Linux fan I chose an Android device which is in many ways excellent.

BUT...

I can hardly believe how APPALLING the native calendar application is!!

The user interface is very pretty but really hard to use with any accuracy or speed. 

Screen space is wasted by the bucket load and yet the single day view doesn't even tell you which day of the week it's on. 

You can't set up 'complex' repeat patterns on the phone - complex being 'every 2nd week' for example!

 You can't set the snooze interval, number of reminders or any of that stuff. 

I could go on and on: it's just terrible, and especially in comparison with DateBk.

The only thing that makes it a viable option for me is that it syncs with GCal so I can do all the real work in Firefox.

I think you'd have a tidal wave of grateful purchasers if you produced a version for Android - any chance?
