Re: Losing categories synching Datebk<<Pimlical>>GC. Am I the only one???

An update from the original poster (confused but everything in place again:
I was/am using Pimlical 1.2.33 (JVM 1.6.0_17)
Datebk 6.1a,s6 (now s7, after the category whipe out, found no relation)
11 GCalendars (=Pimlical/Datebk categories)
Companionlink to synch Memo/Contacts/ToDo databases

A closer look to my problem confirmed an other posters comment: original categories remained in GC and Pimlical. Overwriting Desktop<hotsync (7.02)>Datebk did not work:
For some obscure reason the 'unfiled' category was added (yes,I did uncheck this when adding the G_XX categories)

I did a backup everything and jumped forward:
use advance find to select correlating twin Datebk/G_Datebk category (careful not to select the unfiled category (it might hold T_tasks)
hit find, hit change, hit clear all, select unfiled category and 'remove' box: and presto: Datebk 'knows'what to show again...

All is in place now and working for 2 days.
Kudos for Cesd,making a program 'broederstam'proof:-)!
Downside: I cannot reproduce what I did wrong, so no wisdom here, only a description how to resolve the issue.

Hope it helps,
Cheers,

erik-jan
