Still stranded - Re: Moving to a new computer - Datebook db issues

I'm still stranded.  In desperation I tried almost everything I could 
think of.  In the end, I copied the pc files and placed them where they 
should be and it appeared that the Palm and desktop sync'ed.  I did it a 
number of times in a row and there were no errors.  Now I am back to 
having the hotsync hang.  What should I try?
