Nancy,

I'd like to hear about your experiences with Datebk6 on Palm Pre or Palm
Pixi. What do you like? What don't you like? Should I try to keep my T3
alive until Pimlical is available for Android?

I've gone from a Treo 650/680 to an AT&T Pre Plus. Have tried
MotionApps Classic emulator to run DateBk6. It looks like a nice
implementation - with a simulated 5-way, menu buttons, etc - but have
Not been able to get the Hotsync to work. There are tutorials and
videos showing how to do it, but no luck so far. I'm running Windows 7
64 Bit, which might be the roadblock. The Classic instructions are
sometimes vague about which version really works. Haven't given up
entirely, but that path is looking dubious for me.

At the moment, I'm reasonably happy with just using the Pre Calendar
because it is being populated by Pimlical events via Google Calendar.
There have been some problems, but it's working Ok. So, that limits my
use of 'advanced' features to Pimlical on my Laptop and allows only
generic features on my Pre. There is also the significant lack of
ability to Sync Tasks/Memos/Contacts. These can be 'imported', but not
Sync'd. Hoping Google begins to support these.

I had been waiting for the Droid, which will (soon??) run Pimlical, but
AT&T has been mum about its release and I finally decided to just go
with the Pre Plus. If Verizon is your carrier, the Droid would seem to
be a good path - with hopes for an early release of Pimlical.

Al
