it's not, just need to keep depressing the slide with the 'travel limiter'
to get it past, whist keeping other slide disengaged and not letting it go
back to click in;

you should be able to disengage the other one first, apply gentle load on
that side to keep it past the catch, then, disengage the one with the
catch

the first time I've done (after my 1st T3 went through a wash cycle) I
managed to open it very easily, the second time(after hot sweet tea
accident)(sugar and hand held device is not a recommended trick), I took a
little longer (hence the photos if I need it again)
