The best solution at this point is to do a sync followed by a hard reset.
Then reinstall datebk6 only and test. you will almost certainly find that it
is working. Then add back other applications.

Before doing this if you don't use Saved Views in DateBk6 create one Saved
View called Normal Settings. This will save your preferences in the file
datebk6DB. You can restore this file to get your settings back. If you DO
used Saved Views they are already in this file.
