Alarm triggers for advances too.

Using DateBk 6.1b s0. I have some appointments setup with alarms (just in case I forget and don't even look at it), and also have a three day advance. That all works as advertised, but the alarm on the primary appointment is also duplicated on all the advances. So it rings at the prescribed time every day for three days prior to the event. While the alarm for the primary appointment is important, I don't need or want to hear it three days in a row leading up to the appointment. Is there any way to prevent this alarm on advances only, while keeping it active on the final appointment?
