My head spun twice reading your question! LOL! Your question is beyond me...maybe someone else in the thread can help with specifics. My comment about exporting comes from CESD at Pimlico itself...and I now share with you what was sent to me:



There are no programs from Pimlico Software at this time that run on the 
iPhone/iPod nor is there likely to be anything in the near future. Android 
is more likely to be implemented first. However, quite a few Palm Users are 
now using an iPhone along with Pimlical on the desktop to update Google 
Calendar directly so you have the benefit of a more powerful calendar 
application to update google Calendars the information in which is then 
pushed directly to iphone, Android and WinMob phones (but that would still 
be using the regular native calendar application).

Do note, however, that one advantage of Pimlical is that it has a feature 
(in registered versions) to export the Palm calendar as an industry-standard 
iCalendar file which can then be imported into most other calendar 
applications.....

I have not tried any of this BECAUSE I am Mac all the time, so I do not have access to Pimlical. Once it is available on Mac, I will be trying it.

It seems to me that *if* you could perform the step for which I admit I need clarification, then couldn't you also reverse the process by, say, scheduling directly on your iPhone and then following the process that you described so that the information ultimately ends up back on your PalmOS device?


........to the best of my knowledge the answer is no. It is a one-way action and that is the down-side.


And lastly......


I am very eager to solve this issue because I often contemplate whether it is possible to keep my iPhone-to-Google Calendar-to-Pimlical system BUT to also add a DateBk6-running Centro to the mix!

For example, what would happen if I made a change to Google Calendar, and then later in the day I decide to make a change to the same entry on a Centro?  Later in the evening, I assume that I would run Pimlical, sync Pimlical with Google Calendar, but *then* would I hotsync so that Pimlical could obtain the changes that I made on the Centro itself? 


.........wow, I do not know for sure. I would think each action you are doing between two "machines" would update those machines to have identical databases (unless you told one machine to overwrite the other.) It would likely be multiple steps, but I think you should be able to do what you asked (as long as all software is compatible.) Anybody out there know a definitive answer?
