Re: Win 7 and not able to sync

I have been using Windows 7 32bit with no problems at all, either USB or bluetooth (usually USB), so it certainly is possible. The Hotsync Manager is installed to start at boot time, and has been trouble-free for me. I don't use any compatibility mode.

I would just try reinstalling it (the 5.2 desktop) to be sure it is all in the proper order.
