I can relate to what you said about not knowing that your T3 had Bluetooth until you needed to find it in order to sync.  That happened to me, too: I did not know that my Treo 755p had Bluetooth until I needed to sync my calendar data off of the PalmOS device and into Google Calendar.  Also, until that time, I had publicly OPPOSED Bluetooth because my perception of Bluetooth was that it was the technology that disrupted the reception of incoming cell-phone calls.  I never thought about Bluetooth for Palms for any reason at all.

Nowadays, I view Bluetooth as mandatory in any device because I never want to be "locked" into a system again; if it wasn't for Bluetooth hotsync, it appears that people would have been trapped with their information on a Palm but no way to sync it with a 64-bit computer.

Finally, I would like to respectfully ask *why* you do not want a permanently opened virtual machine.  I do not run a virtual machine yet, but I am fascinated that Parallels (I do not know either way about Fusion) allows you to have an entire 32-bit virtual environment that can be opened and collapsed at will, just like any other window within Windows.  To me, it seems like a *good* thing to be able to permanently keep open one's virtual environment.  Any thoughts you might share would be appreciated.
