Help - old palm, new computer

I have a Palm T5 running Datebk6 and loving it.
 I have just updated my computer to Windows 7 64 bit and downloaded Palm desktop 6.2. I have installed bluetooth and am trying to get my computer to sync with my palm. 
I don't know how to get the palm desktop to recognize Datebk6 - I have downloaded this software again and it wants to reinstall on my palm but does not seem to affect the desktop. I don't know how to get my old files to be read by the palm desktop

Does anyone know how to help with this?
