Thanks Ralph.  Installed to Desktop worked fine.
Install of DateBk6.prc and DateBk6-resources.prc to the Treo went fine.
Tapping on DateBk6 still crashes the Treo
DateBk6 hard button still crashes the Treo

OK, Deleted DateBk6DB.pdb using Filez

Progress...I got the messages of do I want the hard button to open Date|Bk 6
and then the message about this being a trial..then crash!
Hard button and tapping both lead to a crash.
I am going to email CESD support.
