You can only sync one device to a computer at a time. If, for any reason, I
have had to switch devices, I have had to clear the new device, then sync to
load all of the programs and info from my computer.

Subject: [pdbk] Lifedrive, PalmTX, OS & Datebk6

I have a dumb question. My LifeDrive proved to be such a compatibility
problem that I bought a PalmTX to, ultimately, replace it. The LD is
currently working, syncing by cable with Vista32 & Palm OS 4.1.4e. I can
only occasionally get it to sync via bluetooth/wifi.

I bought Datebk6 which support says I need for Vista. But support also says
I have to upgrade to Palm 6.2 to run it on my Palm TX. I have set up the
Palm TX with a different user name.

My question is, can I run two different Palm OS versions on the same Vista
32 machine, and sync them separately? When I tried Palm 6.2 before, the
names of the databases are different: Contacts is Address, Calendar is
Datebook, etc. and it really messed up my sync until I went back to 4.1.4.
Both units will have to be sync'd using cable.

Thanks, Sue
