What would be the largest database that would be practical?

Don't do it. This will take forever to load. Keep the database as small as
you can live with. That is one of the biggest problems with PimlicalA.
Performance on larger data base size is abysmal. It is have one of the fast
  phones.

Subject: [pdbk] Android Calendar record size

I have about 9000 records on my PALM Centro datebk6.

I am about to move to Pimlical Android on an LG Optimus P970.

Has anyone else got a large Internal Calendar database on their android? Any
  problems with a large database?

On my Centro - searches are still fast and maybe even quicker on my
PalmDesktop so I don't see any reason to cull back or break up my database.

I don't really want to sync with GOOGLE as I often don't have Internet
  access when travelling remotely.

I hope the move to Android doesn't limit my rather large DB.

Thanks in advance for the info.
