Snoozes of floating events are killed at midnight...

Hello,

this group is a treasure trove of helpful tips, thanks to all who postede them!
After some searching through the messages I couldn't find anything regarding the following issue. I have a lot of floating events, most of them untimed, as well as some floating reminders. The nice thing about untimed floats is that I can select a time for all of them to go off (Preferences -> Alarms -> Untimed Alarm) which I can adjust to my needs. This may be 12:00 on one day or 16:00 on another. So they all go off at i.e. 12:00 and I can snooze them to appropriate, different times, and then snooze them again, and again... Sometimes they are snoozed to a time after midnight, and I can see them listed in the alarm manager at i.e. 00:10. When the float advance time is set to 0:00, my preferred value, then DateBk6 floats them at that time to the next day and the snoozed alarms don't go off
at 00:10 and are not listed in the alarm manager anymore. If the float advance time is set to "No time" or any other time after the snoozed time and DateBk didn't run since before 0:00 and so didn't do it's "housekeeping" yet, the alarms go off as expected. This works until DateBk6 runs and moves the floating events to today while killing the snoozes. I first noticed that on my "workhorse", a Tungsten T3 running DateBk6 V-6.1a, s7, and could reproduce it on a hard-resetted Treo 90 and a hard-resetted T3 with the latest version, DateBk6 V-6.1b, s2.
The best workaround I've come up with so far is to use ToDos instead and give them an alarm (or use a template), as the ToDo-alarms can be snoozed until the next day without being killed. The alarm times could be changed with the List View's Menu Multiple -> Set/Adj. Date/Time, but that way it wouldn't be possible to distinguish between timed and untimed alarms. I haven't found an option for untimed ToDo alarms.
I hope there is a better workaround for this, I am grateful for any comment!

Cheers, Bernd
