Palm Desktop 6.2 searches within Memopad

Windows (Desktop) Search, built into XP, will search inside mdb's
and tell you if the word you seek is inside memopad.mdb (but
won't display the entry.)

Go to Control Panel  -> Administrative Tools  -> Services and
  - disable Indexing Service
  - set Windows Search to start Automatically

again in Control Panel go to Indexing Options to set any special
   conditions you wish.  Make  sure that in Advanced Options, File Types
mdb is checked.

If you don't have Windows Search, you can download it from Microsoft, here:
