Week Calendar uses the standard CalDev calendar that the built-in iPhone calendar uses. Syncing with Outlook or Google Calendar is the same as using the default iPhone calendar program. Week Calendar is just a different user interface to the same underlying database (and uses more features of that database than the built-in apps). If you are not on Android and using Pilmical, Week Calendar is the best I've seen on an iPhone.
