RE: Event created on Desktop using Google Calendar Appears in Smartphone's standard

I had a similar problem last week.  I ended up making a minor character
change to the record and it finally synced.  Adding a couple of spaces after
the words wasn't enough.  I had to change letters.

I've been having ongoing sync problems, this seems to especially be the case
with recurring events.

Today I created an event on my laptop on Google Calendar and now I see it on
my phone in the standard Android calendar, but I do not see it on my phone
in Pimlical. This is the case even after pressing Sync a few times and
waiting.

This happened at home while both the laptop and the phone were connected to
the internet using WiFi.

Please help me to get sync working correctly.
