Corrupt Calendar

I've been running DateBk6 and earlier versions for years and I depend on it. About 2 weeks ago, the calendar became inacessable and gave MemCk 4056 / MemoryMgr.c Line 4365 NULL handle - I had been tryng to use Companion Link to sync with Google and it seems to have put some duplicate entries in,

Palm m515

I tried repairing it with Dbfixit2 -to no success. Eventually - I cloned the entire Palm to another m515 from the desktop backup, and strangely the calendar was accessable. I had around 10500 entries going back to 2005. I have tried several times and the identical calendar database is bad on Palm and ok on the other.

I wanted to make sure that I had good data and also did a cleanup, I deleted and purged older data to reduce the size to around 8000, removed a few error records, and started to clean up some duplicate entries from bad hotsyncs. I also started using the latest version of Pimlical to sync to Google calendar. Two days ago, everything was 95% clean, and looking good, I made some more updates in gCal and then suddenly the MemCk 4056 problem appeared on the mew Palm for the first time. I eventually found the if I deleted records 1-7000 out of the 8127 records I could see it, but of course I have lost most of my data. The other thing that happened after the deletion is that I lost my default category for adding events it changed to something like x0135 and all the colors for categories had been
reset to random weird sizes and colors.

IN an effort to start over, I then tried taking a test calendar file from a year ago, that had only a couple of events, deleting those events in desktop, and then using that in pimlical after making all the Google calendars readonly. It went a little crazy and ended up making 2 copies of each event and then a few minutes later offering to delete them. That left me with a calendar that has maybe 85% of the Google events - for some reason it just does not sync on them all.

I suspect that part of the problem is that I mostly use weekly events - 50 minute open slots during the day where clients are booked, and they are booked by making exceptions to the weekly- though sometimes they are booked weekly. I suspect that moving back and forth between gCal and Palm gets confused and that's why I have cases where the weekly event still shows at the same as the individual appointment, and also this has corrupted the file.

I have a real mess right now, I have a Palm with only 25% of the data, I have a Pimlical copy of gCal that has 85%, and I have a gCal (and I have a backup of that for safety) that appears to be 99% correct.

I'm trying to find a way to get the Google calendar back into the Palm without the creating data errors.
