The problem appears to be fixed, in the end I did a number of cleanups to remove possible corruption. All changes were made in a Google calendar that was created from the Palm calendar. Remove/purge some very old events from before 2009, including one from 1996 which is pretty impossible. Remove some events that dbFixit had found on the Palm. Remove two events greater than 24 hours. Replace the Access tables with some safe copies from weeks ago. Use Access to remove all events from the MDB table. Hack the Access Category table, to ensure that categories are all present. Let Pimlical rebuild the Palm/Access table from Google calendar. Sync to the Palm and its now working on the Palm for the first time in 2 weeks.
