Kevin …
I started this thread years ago. It has meandered here and there over the years. My original request was for DateBk to be written for iOS and OSX. I used a Palm Pilot for MANY years and DateBk was my all time favorite program/app. But despite my many requests, it seems DateBk will NEVER come to the MAC format. Sad….

Oh I just checked -- it's not compatible with the Nexus 7? Hmm, good job on that ... what the heck ... unbelievable. I bet you have had a target market that would have loved throwing money at your app but it seems you've done a very poor job of marketing it to people with devices who could benefit from it. Nice business model.

Is any version of DateBk on Android or IOS? That was my favorite software on Palm. I couldn't believe when I last looked that it was a desktop-only app and that even though it was written in Java there wasn't an easy setup for Mac computers. Talk about limiting your user base ..... Hoping this situation has changed.

Your preferences and saved views are stored in the file DateBk6DB preference database and that's what you would need to look for to get restored. Your icons are stored in the file Icons-DATEBK.PRC.

It sounds like neither file was restored...?

Cheers!

Subject: [pdbk] how to restore DateBk6 data to Treo 600?

After restore from backup then sync of calendar all DateBk6 preferences are GONE! icons, colors, VIEWS! Years of organizing, tweaking and obsessive compulsive time-wasting.

Any ideas how to restore things to their previous glory?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
